Emergency Medical Services (EMS) in Clackamas County and fire agencies respond 24/7 to 9-1-1 calls with Advanced Life Support paramedics and transports to four local area hospitals and two Level 1 trauma centers in the metro area.

Damsel in Defense

Our mission is to equip, empower, and educate women to protect themselves and their families. Our Damsel Safety Educators are not only arming others and experiencing financial freedom, but also offering empowerment and healing to those affected by assault.
 

I will be demonstrating how to use our stun guns which will be for sale as well as our other personal protection and safety tools, i.e. pepper spray, striking tools, personal alarms and much more!

GO/STAY/KIT

The GO|STAY|KIT contains, all in one place,  your vital personal data and copies of important papers needed by emergency responders and shelter intake workers, in case of a natural disaster or medical emergency. The Kit will give caregivers and medical professionals on-the-spot access to vital information that will help guide treatment.

 

This emergency preparedness tool is also a necessity for communities, seniors, families, or anyone wishing to have their personal/medical information-at their fingertips.

Mountain Wave is an ALL Volunteer Non-Profit 501 (c) 3 organization dedicated to assisting local, state and federal agencies with Search & Rescue events and Natural Disasters. We have over 100 members and are fully funded by donations.

Tualatin CERT

The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) provides an opportunity for individuals to make a commitment to the emergency readiness and response of our city. CERT provides training in earthquake awareness, disaster fire suppression techniques, disaster medical operations, first aid/triage, light search and rescue as well as team organization and management.

With an emphasis on hands-on practice, trained instructors guide participants through a FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) course that covers basic skills that are important to know in a disaster when emergency services are not readily available.

Tualatin Neighborhood Ready

Are you ready for the next local disaster?  In a major disaster, first responders will be overwhelmed; we need to rely on our neighbors and ourselves!

Our Tualatin Neighborhood Ready program offers disaster readiness presentations for you, your neighbors, and local businesses. Through an in-person or Zoom presentation, we offer preparedness steps:  Family Plan, Water Storage, Home Emergency Supplies & Storage, Utility Shut-offs, Evacuation Go Bags, Communication Tips, Home Hazards,  and Getting to know your Neighbors.

         

The presentations are facilitated by trained CERT volunteers.

For an in-person gathering with your neighbors, we can help you set up a 90-minute meeting, in a driveway, garage, backyard, or cul-de-sac.

  • Helping the community is important to us.  As part of that effort, we support Tualatin CERT and Ham team by providing equipment and other supplies.

  • Volunteers are the cornerstone of this effort.  We want to thank them for this fair today and everything they give all year long.

  • On display today in addition to take-home information are some of our emergency response equipment.

  • If you want to sit in the seat of a dump truck or other heavy equipment, stop by.  Our operations staff would be thrilled to give you a boost up.

Tualatin Food Pantry (TFP) is a community organized food bank that is supported by local churches, businesses, social and civic organizations, schools, individuals and local government agencies.

We are an Oregon Food Bank – Partner Agency. 

The mission of Tualatin Food Pantry is to provide emergency food to households in a welcoming environment. As a part of the Oregon Food Bank, we also share in their mission to eliminate 

hunger and its root causes because we believe that no one should go hungry. We operate with a volunteer staff that is dedicated to serving others.

Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue

When it comes to providing EMS to our citizens, TVF&R is a leader in the field. Our firefighters and paramedics are highly trained and equipped, and ready to handle any emergency they may encounter.

 

All of TVF&R's firefighters are licensed Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Providers. At a minimum, firefighters are required to maintain an EMT license. 

TVF&R has twice received the Fire Service Award for Excellence by the International Association of Fire Chiefs. This award recognizes a fire department's innovations and achievements in managing resources to reduce the loss of life and property from fire and other emergencies.
